 Seasons 1-8 will see shippers make bids for two of the shipments on the uShip website. This is an auction reverse style. Bids are typically accompanied by statements about the possible risk and cost and their motives and abilities. When the time period of an auction has expired, the job is typically awarded to the lowest bidder and at the discretion of the client however, it can be given to a bidder who has a greater average rating for feedback from previous clients. If the bidder is lowest, any ties will be broken by feedback ratings. In season 9, the shippers are given their loads by an agent for shipping, but bidding is not shown.Winners take their cargo to the port and try to get it delivered in a timely manner within the receiver's or client's deadline. Once the loads have been delivered, feedback scores are displayed from clients. The show concludes by calculating each shipper's revenues and expenses.
