Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her greatest roles are the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. She was born into a middle-class household located in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mother was a film enthusiast and urged her to enjoy films as a child. Paula took part in numerous co-curricular events at school, but she had particular passion for dramatics. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. She was a part of numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as a profession. She was a student at in the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved the experience. She was awarded a three-month project producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. When she was successful in completing the assignment, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. After completing her assignment then she began putting together documentary films. Although she was awed by her job, she still wanted to become an actor. The path to acting began when she had minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Over the past few years she's appeared in numerous films and television shows.
