Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She founded The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington has been an actor, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for over ten years. She is also the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an independently-liberal online newsmagazine. Born in Greece then moved to England at age sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA of Economics. In her 21st year, she was president of the famed debate club The Cambridge Union' and was the first foreign born student to do so. Being a conservative syndicated blog when she graduated, she became an influential voice for the Huffington Post. The fame of Arianna helped in attracting several famous contributors. Arianna was famous when she decided to run as an Independent candidate for the California Recall election to succeed the Governor Davis. She was also involved in the Detroit-based initiative that advocated for fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes named her as 12th on their list of the Top influential women in the media. Guardian also included the Huffington Post on their list of the top 100 in the year 2010. AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post, and she was named president of the media company. The acquisition included a number of AOL properties at that time, including Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli was born to Konstantinos Stasinopoulos and Elli, who are both management consultants and journalists. They were very close to her father. But it was the relationship she had with her mother who formed her. Even in her formative age she demonstrated the leadership abilities that she is still known for. At the age of 16, she returned to the UK to study and enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. During her college days she joined the debating group Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign president and was also the third female president. She graduated in 1972 with the degree of Master's in Economics. The career of an anchor and reporter was born after graduation. In addition, she was a part of the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books with editorial assistance from Bernard Levin.
